For me... it is an addiction.

I lay in bed and think about painting and

what colours i will use and what i will paint .

 I dont read books, or take art classes, i dont use fancy

equipment or brushes.

ALL I HAVE is my passion, my vision, my creativity and my soul.

I paint what i feel,

the way i want to represent it or show it.

All of my art work is original.

For me the most rewarding and exciting things about

painting, is the different range of emotions that people

experience when looking at a painting.

Some are happy to

sad or others see different objects and a different story.

ART IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

 SMARTIE ARTS is the section of my label that concentrates on childrens artworks. 

I enjoy creating artwork that i know will keep children fascinated.

After much experimentation with techniques and subject

matter i am now concentrating on what i have called my

"kapali Ladies"

which means covered ladies. Celebrating femininty, culture

and colour, i am excited about some of my up coming works.

They are now the bases of my art by Vanessa section of

my brand.
